In this upcoming issue of RSM, this will be her most candid interview regarding her relationship status with Chris Brown since her interview with Oprah back in August. She tells RSM contributing editor Josh Eells, "I decide it was more important for me to be happy... I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake."
Now for those that have been living in a bubble for the past few years. Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna back in 2009, the night before the Grammy Awards. I'm beginning to realize the night before the Grammy Awards some bizarre shit always go down. Think back to last year... Okay. So after the incident these two has put the past aside and decided to give it another shot. Rihanna also let it be known in her interview, that if he show any signs of the dumb shit, she will walk away. She simply states, "He doesn't have the luxury of fucking up again."
I'm just glad that she has no shame in how she feels about her love for Chris Brown. I say good for her. As I often say, Say what you mean and stand behind it 100%". Like she said in the interview, "I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it." And as she should.
Now, I know what some of y'all are thinking. What example is she setting for the little girls in society?! I personally think, BULLSHIT. The real question is, What example are you setting for your children or for the young females of society? If it's a good example, then here's looking at you. If it's not a good example then perhaps you got some work to do. Need I Say Moore?!
Will you purchase this issue of Rolling Stone Magazine? What are views on Rihanna and Chris Brown relationship? Is she a fool for taking him back? Do you think this time around it will work?
